My research interests include early first and second language acquisition, multilingualism, and questions related to speech perception. Furthermore, I am interested in how cultural and linguistic differences contribute to language development in children with typical language skills, and those who have language disorders.

My research also examines how everyday elements (e.g., exposure to noise in the environment, music and songs, and engaging in physical activity) can contribut to how children learn language.
