  • Innovation:Co-inventor of four patents, and cofounder of Biolectin in 2000. Main driver of a study of anti-MFAP4 antibodies as a new drug for treatment of age-related macula degeneration (AMD) and diabetic macular edema. GLS has recieved SDU Proof-of-Concept grant 2013 and Novo Nordisk Pre-Seed grant 2015 for this project. GLS recieved 2.278.000 € from The Danish Innovation Foundation and 406.000 € in SDU co-financing for the same project in 2017.
