Hi everyone! 

I’m Enara, and I’ve just joined the department as an MSCA postdoctoral fellow.

My project, “Therapeutic Atmospheres” (THERASPHERES), looks at how the emotional feel or “atmosphere” of therapeutic settings shapes the therapy process. I use phenomenological and qualitative approaches, mainly video analysis and interviews, and I’ll be doing some fieldwork in Spain until May 2026.

Before this, I have been doing research at the University of the Basque Country and the University of Granada, exploring topics like the nature of mental conditions and how embodied interactions unfold in psychotherapy. I tackle these questions from a 4E (embodied, embedded, extended, enacted) cognition perspective. 

Outside academia, I love anything that involves movement—contact dance, acrobatics, yoga, and pretty much any sport. I also enjoy playing guitar and board games.
