Elham Kalhor’s research focuses on international business and strategic management, with particular attention to market systems, organizational dynamics, and firm-level strategy. Recently, she has expanded her work to include sustainability practices across different European contexts, examining how organizations adapt to evolving institutional and environmental demands. Building on this, she investigates innovation ecosystems and the role of technology in supporting regenerative and sustainable organizational models. Her research employs both quantitative and qualitative methods.

She is also involved in interdisciplinary research collaborations on crisis management and branding, including studies on legacy crises from a clan culture perspective and the role of royal warrants as symbols of brand heritage.
