This thesis is the product of five month of intensive study in rating of submarine cables from wind based load profiles. The study was performed at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, by two students as a part of the education Electrical Power Engineering at the 7th semester.The problem statement is prepared on demand from the cooperating companies, Energinet Eltransmission A/S and VattenfallWind Power A/S, where the students have been working during an internship.
