Beskrivelse

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems have emerged as powerful tools for various applications, including language generation, image synthesis, and content creation. However, these systems are not immune to biases inherent in the data they are trained on, and their outputs may inadvertently perpetuate societal, cultural, and ethical biases. Understanding and mitigating bias in generative AI has become a crucial endeavor for ensuring responsible and fair deployment of these technologies. This session aims to shed light on the origins and manifestations of bias in generative AI systems, explore techniques for detecting and measuring bias in their outputs, and provide a forum for discussing implications. Furthermore, we will briefly address emerging efforts to mitigate bias in generative AI, including development of responsible AI frameworks.
