Beskrivelse
The European Violence in Psychiatry Research Group (EViPRG) is an active network of mental health researchers, educators and practitioners with over 70 members in Europe and beyond
The group aims to enhance the understanding, prevention and management of violence in psychiatric settings by conducting research and disseminating good practice. EViPRG works by drawing on it's members' multidisciplinary expertise in clinical psychology, education, mental health nursing, pharmacology, psychiatry and sociology to examine the problem of violence from a wide range of perspectives.
EViPRG was founded in 1997 and is an active and productive network which meets twice a year to exchange and update ideas and to disseminate research to mental health practitioners in participating countries.
