Hello IFISH 5 Scientific Review Committee— I have some exciting news to share! We are planning to publish a special issue of the Journal of Agromedicine focusing on international safety and health research in the commercial fishing, seafood processing and aquaculture industries. The issue is scheduled for October, 2019. The special issue will highlight papers from IFISH5 as well as new research done since our time together in St. Johns. I also hope we can announce the date and location of IFISH6 in the issue—but I’m still working on that. In order to put this together, we will need a core group of guest editors. I’m contacting you to solicit your interest in serving as a Guest Editor for this special issue. The roles/expectations of guest editors include:o Promote the issue and solicit paperso Serve as peer reviewerso Suggest additional reviewers for manuscriptso Up to four will write individual commentaries/editorials§ Each should have a different focus areao Help formulate the sequence of papers and additional elements, photos, figures to enhance the issue The timeline we have is as follows:· December, 1 2018.
