Sustainable Curiosity - Don’t we want today’s youth to retain ‘sustainable curiosity’? Pushing the boundaries towards new and innovative learning on sustainable development and global citizenship. However, does current university education foster sustainable curiosity, and what then does it look like in practice? Or must university students break the mold and find their own ways of pursuing sustainable curiosity? We shall introduce you to teachers at universities in the US and Scandinavia who are promoting sustainable curiosity in their programmes of study and share feedback from their students. We have stories to share about university students pursuing sustainable curiosity, including an US student studying at a University in the Netherlands. Finally, we shall invite you to identify factors which contribute to inspiring students’ sustainable curiosity about the world and each other. In order to generalize learning, we need to understand how universities courses can promote sustainable curiosity.
