At the core of some forms of democracy we find everybody's right to vote. Other forms of democracy, at odds with the aforementioned, are based on a deliberative ideal which implies informed voters: "How can we allow the uninformed to participate in the democratic process?" I want to present a naturalistic approach relying on scientific realism and Darwinian ethics under the "free-mind" assumption and see how far this can take us in terms of understanding whether those who are against "un-informed" voting have a case or not
