BeskrivelseThe Second Annual Business Complexity and Global Leadership brought global leaders in business and scholarship together with participants from around the world to support dialogue and understanding of business complexity.
The objective of the present contribution is to examine the relationship between value co-creation and innovation in technology-driven firms by using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach. The empirical analysis by ANN shows that such a relationship exists, and this result is confirmed by linear regression analysis. In addition, two different techniques were used to classify firms in terms of the degree of their co-creation activities - cluster analysis and the self-organizing map (SOM) algorithm. The main contribution of this work is in providing a purely quantitative analysis of the relationship between firms' involvement in co-creation activities and some of their innovation-related metrics without any preliminary assumption about the specific type of such relationship.
