The introduction of entrepreneurship education in science and technology (in our case engineering) master programs can potentially contribute to the creation of new tech-based start-ups or technology transfer initiatives with students’ participation. Nevertheless, we identified that the engineering students taking the “core entrepreneurship” course: high-tech business venturing, did not always achieve the high level intended learning outcomes (ILOs), in particular the ILOs related to entrepreneurial competences. As part of a first step in the redesign process of the course, we introduced a team blog (progress log w/external feedback) as an e-learning activity. The aim was to foster opportunities for reflective learning at individual and group level. The results of a first pilot have shown encouraging changes in the self-efficacy of the students engaged with the blog activity, beyond the limited power of the effects observed, it has been a positive surprise to see the reflections and awareness on the learning progress that the blog tool has facilitated.
