With the competent supervision by Associate Professor Alejandro Rialp, the motivation for the research stay was to further develop ideas related to opportunities and challenges related to internationalization for Danish INVs driven by digital health technologies. Concurrently, focus will be on extending ideas and research - by Associate Professor & Head of Research group Martin Hannibal from University of Southern Denmark and myself - on a preceding project from a Danish innovation partnership, which focuses on developing a Human Friendly IoT-platform related to qualification of the performance and products of health IoT. While the context of the research project was originally intended to be Danish, it has recently evolved with international partners, thereby hinting towards IoT as a possible enabler for creating value across care and welfare world-wide. With the knowledge and expertise of Alejandro Rialp in the field of International Business and Entrepreneurship, we therefore believe that the research stay will be very decisive and fruitful for my future theoretical and empirical research as well as the outcome of the preceding research project.
